[PD] MP3 support

Hey guys.
I'm trying to develop an utterly simple dj setup in pd, to just open files, cue and crossfade from a midi controller. 
The main problem is getting pd to play mp3 format. No idea how to get compatibility. Also would they have to be saved to a table to play 'cause the graphics after tabwrite~ for long files cause audio glitches. Any thoughts on the matter would be helpful.
