thanks for sharing these.
however due to loads of antivirus-software setup on various mailservers
of people subscribed to this list, i now get a huge number of bounces
since w32-executables/dlls will not be accepted.
i suggest using one of the following:
- send .exe/.dll/.whatever packaged in a zip-file. this will save
bandwidth and usually will not be rejected by mailservers
- put downloadables on a website (e.g. http://puredata.info) where
people can download it. this will save even more bandwidth, as all
linux/apple/solaris/dontknowwhat users probably don't want to have it
anyhow.
a third option would obviously be to automatically store attachments at
the list-server and add some links by the mailing-list software....(but
that's work for me :-))
