I don't know what the segmentation fault is about, but palette #8 is YUYV, 
one of the YUV encodings of V4L1, and I don't have any camera that has 
this, so I wouldn't be able to test it directly.

I would like to have a backtrace for the segmentation fault, using GDB or 
equivalent.
