Cool, that's a good thing : one less difference between MinGW and 
Linux/OSX.

-static-libstdc++ is not in gcc in Ubuntu 10.10 (« gcc version 4.4.5 
(Ubuntu/Linaro 4.4.4-14ubuntu5) »)

Is it a MinGW-only feature ? It sounds like it could be useful in Linux 
too, if I'm not mistaken. E.g. could it solve the libstdc++ problem that 
we were having with Gem, GridFlow, ATI drivers, and perhaps some other 
drivers or libs ?
