[PD] controlling ableton with pd via midi

Hi Lucas,
Yes, that is what I thought would happen. I have done midi mapping with an external controller before. However, I cannot do the same with Pd. My guess is that I dont get the correct [ctlout]'s 2nd inlet value because each control surface (template?) that ableton works with seems to have different values set for that. I can keep guessing which control surface would be more encompassing, but that's as far as I know regarding control surfaces, and it will take me a lot of time to do that I guess.

Then just send some [ctlout] from Pd and that controller (say midichannel 1 controller 1) will be auto-mapped to that Ableton knob. You can also use other Pd MIDI out objects as well.
