<BR> Can anyone help me with my first faltering pd steps?
Having downloaded and de-tarred the irix version into /usr/local, and put
the appropriate alias in the .cshrc (root & mine), I get "Permission
denied" in all circumstances. Chmoding all permissions of all files to
the whole world doesn't help, whoever it thinks I am (I haven't tried being
netochka). Any suggestions?
