i\'m using fft with tabread and tabwrite to control the video via audio analysis. I\'m attaching a patch which i\'m using, maybe you\'ll find it helpfull.. 
It\'s certainly not the best way how to do it, but it works :)

To the list: is there a way how to play back video in mpeg3 format, and to control the decoder? libmpeg3 seems to be the best choice - is it possible to compile (& use) under WinXP?

I just want to use mpg video in my performances and to play with the decoding (make it corrupt, or just use the algorythm in any weird way) .. Has been somebody doing it yet ?(or just working with lbmpeg3 ?)
