well, i can be a little more precise <br>
about the tasks :<br>

a/ it's already possible to get the dvcam input in pdp<br>
by using Coriander and the vloopback module :<br>
Coriander grabs the ieee1394 input and can write in a vloopback device,<br>
pdp just sees this as a v4l input,<br>
i guess it works but i can't test it because i don't have any dvcam<br>
( nor a firewire interface ).<br>
<br>
b/ it would be better if there was a native pdp object for dvcams,<br>
for the same reasons as above, i won't be able to do it myself.<br>
we will provide you all the help needed to get into<br>
PDP development.<br>
<br>
c/ i will be doing a Mac OSX capture object <br>
as soon as i get an ibook<br>
( some people will lend me one ).<br>
<br>
d/ i will do the missing vloopback object in PDP<br>
( the one that writes to vloopback ),<br>
it is useful for different purposes.<br>
<br>
e/ first, i must do a quicktime stream reader,<br>
then the vloopback object.<br>
