hello,

i would just recommend to install all from sources,
as the pidip debian package is outdated ( 6 months old )
and i think it requires a recompilation for the newest libraries.

This was libquicktime 0.9.2, which I tried to downgrade to 0.9.1. I googled for information on installing old
libraries over newer ones, but didn't find any tips, so I just downloaded the source and make installed over
the apt-get version. Either this didn't work, or libquicktime 0.9.1 has the same problems on my computer. I
would have removed libquicktime1 (0.9.2 from apt) and then installed 0.9.1 from source, but I'm using the
debian package of pidip, and that gets removed when I remove libquicktime1...
Is there any workaround? I essentially need to be able to record a few minutes of video/lots of jpegs, it
doesn't need to be on the harddrive neccessarily.
Thank you,
Ian
