<P>I used the gem extern of pd. It has some objects to:</P>

<P>1º) create a canvas (where to play a video)</P>

<P>2º) render</P>

<P>3) [pix_video] to work with digital video (my experience was in live video using a firewire connection to a digital camera)<BR><BR>4º) there are other objects to affect the video signal that you can see looking the documentation and tutorials of gem0.90.0 but you must to overwrite de file gem.dll instaling the file existing into gem0.90.1 and giving the path in the shortcut of pd ( -lib c:/pd/gem or something like this)</P>

<P>If you need I can send you my patch to help ... now I´m not at home.</P>
