I'm on Windows, and strangely my experience is the exact opposite: <br><br>I can ONLY use quicktime movies. AVI movies ALWAYS crash GEM instantly. And yet everyone else seems to have the opposite problem?!!!<br><br>~David<br>

i solved the instability by avoiding the quicktime movies.<br>seems to be some problem with windows, the quicktime sdk and gem?<br><br>now i use avi files, xvid-encoded with only i-frames.<br>works fine now.<br><br>greets
