<div dir="ltr"><br>Hi Mike,<br>I use csoundapi~ a bit and it works fine for me. And yes, there is a more recent version; the current version in CVS takes MIDI commands, much like the corresponding object for MAX/MSP. I've prepared a few sample patches for the new MIDI functionality. They aren't in CVS yet, but I can post them if you're interested.<br>

I would imagine that with it being an external of PD that it runs in the same address space (maybe?) and that the priorities given to the code would be the same.<br>
<br>Is there a better way to us CSound with PD? OSC? Can CSound be run as a server (alla Supercollider)?<br><br>Also, is there a more recent version of the external? While I haven't experienced any troubles, I am wondering what version of Pure Data that the compiled version that comes with Csound 5.08 was compiled against.<br>
