if you are using Ubuntu and you have sound in other applications, then this might be a codec problem. Please open Synaptic (or whatever package manager you use) and check if the packages &quot;non-free-codecs&quot;, &quot;ubuntu-restricted-extras&quot; and &quot;libquicktime1&quot; are installed.<br>
