Hi, <br><br>I have the same system as you (the only dif is I pacthed it for RT kernel), here's utput of $uname -a:<br>Linux 2.6.31-9-rt #152-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT RT Thu Oct 15 05:01:14 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux<br><br>I also installed PD from synaptics and seems the same version:<br>
$ pd -version<br>Pd version 0.41-4<br>compiled 00:27:04 Nov 7 2008<br><br>Try several things:<br>- check your OpenGL first (in console try: $glxgears)<br>- try launching pd from command line with -verbose and -debug <some-level-like-3> and see if you get any more help than just that seg fault.<br>

I am using the configuration bellow, and every time i create gemwin<br>
