HI Folks, i installed pd 0.42.5 in ubuntu 10.04 for my students, the .deb works and pd installer say: install done...Well... when i try run pd not work, no icon, i tried with terminal LD_PRELOAD= .... etc and dont work....<br>

Of course we missed somethings, so now we have 0.42.5-rc2! Fixed since 0.42.5-rc1:<br>

* 64-bit builds on Ubuntu<br>
* 64-bit build on Mac OS X 10.6/Snow Leopard, minus Gem, hid, and pidip (Carbon)<br>
* fixed [plugin~] crashes, now also builds on Mac OS X and Windows<br>
* Pd-extended shows in the GNOME menus again<br>

There are of course many bug fixes and additions since 0.41.4, here are some highlights:<br>
