and for a 90dpi display the tk scaling should be 1.25.<br>

Your tk scaling of ~4.233 = a dpi of 304?<br>

I guess I'll try compiling pd-extended from src and see what that gives<br>
me. I'm still confused why the pd font and size args change nothing on<br>
