Sure, there are crasher bugs with Pd, but if you aren't even going to bother to report them, how can you expect them to be fixed? Most of the developers of Pd use Pd in their own work, and therefore are very likely to fix problems they encounter. I rarely encounter crasher bugs because I try to fix them when they happen to me. So that points to something else: the area where the Pd devs work are the area where Pd will work best.
