i always suggested to use DNS names which are owned by the "community"<br>
as "fallbacks", so the pdcon organizers don't have to pay forever.<br>

e.g. "we" (technically the "iem", administered by "me", dedicated to the<br>
"pd community"), can offer any subdomain of "<a href="http://puredata.info" target="_blank">puredata.info</a>".<br>
for the conventions, there have always been DNS entries of the form<br>
