background-color: transparent; font-style: normal; ">I've had some quite strange things happen to me, the closer I get to finishing this score I'm working on.</div><div id="yiv939061421yui_3_2_0_19_134865378765060" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 16px; font-family: 'times new roman', 'new york', times, serif; background-color: transparent; font-style: normal; ">First the patch becomes unable to load the .score files (just text files actually) into [msgfile] (first image) - this happens only when I have connected up a mechanism that allows Pd to automatically generate an event when the current one is finished (event feedback, but there are delays so it's not really stack overflow). After this happens I can no longer save the Pd patch, and I get the message "too many open files".</div><div id="yiv939061421yui_3_2_0_19_134865378765060" style="color:rgb(0, 0, 0);font-size:16px;font-family:'times new roman', 'new york', times,
