but i have no idea if you can find a compiled version of Gem, or if you'll have to compile it yourself.<br>

you just need a Gem version less than 1 year old, and the VLC plugin.<br>

I found a way via "camTwist", to capture screen from vlc into a vitual camera to use with [pix_video], but the quality is not so nice.<br>
How about quarts composer? Can i get frames from quartz composer to pd? How about syphon? Anyone experiences here?<br>
