assuming that by the 2nd "pd" you mean pd-vanilla, then:<br>
- you can launch it as "puredata"<br>
- you can set the "pd" alternative back to puredata by running (as root):<br>
# update-alternatives --config pd<br>
and then select "puredata", rather then "pd-extended"<br>
