Some new features:<br>
<br>
binary netsend/netreceive (so you should no longer need an extern for OSC)<br>
<br>
pd~ (multiprocessing) works on windows and is less likely to deadlock although<br>
not yet perfect<br>
<br>
multi-purpose "array" and "text" objects. "Array" is a more general<br>
replacement for the "table", "tabread" and "tabwrite" obejcts. "text" is<br>
sort of like Max's "coll" but simpler and hopefully more powerful.<br>
<br>
"text"s are also avaioable as fields in data structures.<br>
<br>
"tempo" messages for delay, metro, timer, and "test sequence". In particular<br>
you can specify or measure time in samples, but you can also use this for<br>
changing the speed of an ensemble of delay loops while keeping them in sync.<br>
<br>
Objects/messages/comments have settable box widths.<br>
<br>
Also various improvements in audio and midi handling:<br>
<br>
The Pd window now tells you whether PD has an audio device open or not<br>
<br>
Fixed hangups exiting when using jack<br>
<br>
Got ASIO working again on PC (it was apparently broken; I don't know for how<br>
long.)<br>
