off-topic: This is especially worrisome given that Wikipedia's resources to deal with abuse haven't grown much, but the incentives and resources to corrupt its content are larger than ever. I only know about this case because the editor in question is particularly brazen; most of the abuse is much more subtle and goes undetected without analyzing IP addys, timestamps, and other metadata.
