I'll likely fold something like that in (although it might be easier to implement if the metadata were stored in a separate table). Resizing is quite difficult since we want to preserve data. But since it wouldn't have to be done in place necessarily, it would be possible to just store a scratch space table, copy everything over, zero out the main table and resize, and then copy the data back in chunkwise. [array get/set] are faster than I thought they'd be, and they work great as a Pd analogue to "memmove" (see [array-copy] in my collection). However, some of them depend on zexy externals (I hope I didn't miss any other dependencies). I haven't shared them yet so the documentation is quite poor (no help files, docs inside the abstraction) and they look a bit messy.
