I haven't used the uDMX device but several other DMX devices with OLA (Open Lighting Architecture) under MacOS and Linux.<br class="">
Here is an external that allows you to receive and send DMX data to OLA:<br class="">

Maybe this solution is more stable fou your. It for sure is more flexible as OLA supports many different devices, but this is transparent to the user.<br class="">
So in case you change to eg. Artnet you don't have to change your patch.<br class="">
