<p>Here is the paper I'll be presenting at the conference on Context. Others can judge whether it is an adequate alternative to Xeq or whether they are substantially different. The software itself is in the testing phase and I will have a working version ready
in November.<br>

The paper is quite outdated, it doesn't fit very well with the actual <br>
code of 0.1. Here xeq is split in several objects: xeq, xeq_data, <br>
xeq_follow, xeq_host, xeq_parse, xeq_polyparse, xeq_polytempo, <br>
xeq_query, xeq_record, xeq_time.<br>
The function of some objects is clear, but others are not. Code-wise <br>
they are very connected, so using them in isolation is not an option <br>
(see it as a single, multi-headed beast). Therefore the current package <br>
builds it like a library object.<br>

It will be very interesting to see this, at least to learn more about <br>
sequencers. With good alternatives available, it makes reviving xeq a <br>
