<html><head></head><body><div class="ydpba4e4808yahoo-style-wrap" style="font-family:Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;"><div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">So, I have two PCs. One is a a desktop and one is a laptop.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Both have Intel i5 Sandy Bridge processors.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Both are running Debian stretch.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Both are running Pd 0.49, and libraries are installed via Deken system.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">On my desktop, after creating a [declare -lib creb] object it makes no difference, and I have to type [creb/eadsr~] for example to get the object to load.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">On my laptop, I can load objects after declaring the library. I can just type a [declare -lib creb] object and then use as many [eadsr~] objects as I like. Declare does not seem to work on my desktop.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Is this an issue with regards to superuser permissions or configuration files (not .pdrc, surely) I'm really stumped, and it means I cannot make my libraries of externals and abstractions to work for other people if I cannot even determine why they do or do not work in my own situation. I may have overlooked something stupid, in which case I'll happily take the whip from you, but I think I'm too close to work out what's wrong.<br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Pls Help :-(</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Ed<br></div><div><br></div><div class="ydpba4e4808signature" dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">New album - Driftwood: <br></div><div class="ydpba4e4808signature" dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">synchroma.bandcamp.com<br></div></div></div></body></html>
