<div>Regarding the UI I had in mind the classical spectogram that we know from vst-eq-plugins. But yes, then I also came across the [lop~] and [hip~] objects and for now, I can just use a [hslider] and make my own little gui with it using canvas. For now, that will suit my needs:)</div>

Have you tried [lop~] and [hip~]? [bp~] could also come in handy.<br/>

What do you mean by visual representation? Of the input vs. output<br/>
signal (e.g. a spectrogram)?<br/>
Or like a UI for the eq? In that case you could connect some [vslider]<br/>
to the objects above?<br/>
