[GEM-dev] gem nvidia and tls

hi,

about my yesterdays problem with tls, nvidia drivers and gem:
installing the driver with the nvidia installer, provides the driver 
version with the new TLS, which seem not to work with certain versions of
glibc.
but its possible to install the drivers with:
--force-tls=classic  
and then the world is bright again.
