no, the problem is, that pix_texture2 is still in the code base.
[pix_texture2] is entirely covered by [pix_texture] (and should thus be 
an alias to [pix_texture]), but with the new auto-registering stuff, it 
came into life again

i will remove pix_texture2.cpp/.h from the repository now.
