The dialog window is a failed experiment at this point.  It does work 
if the application is a standard 'Mac app' with the expected event loop 
handling code, but Pd doesn't fall into that category.  We have gotten 
the gemwin to work like a regular window and also functioning mouse 
events, but nothing else.  I also have not had success with using Pd 
messages to change the parameters or video device used by Quicktime.  I 
have not worked on the code in a while, but it's on the todo list.
