[GEM-dev] BUG: pix_snap flipped from pix_snap2tex on OSX

Just posted this on SF.

When using pix_snap2tex everything seems to work as expected. When using 
pix_snap the buffer is flipped across the X axis. (top to bottom and bottom to top)

Also pix_snap seems to set transparent alpha pixels in where the background of 
the buffer would be copied. I really like this bug, don't change it please! The 
X flipping is a pain when switching back and forth between snap and snap2tex.
