...well, that's because there's a message not documented in the  
helpfile ;-P

[compat 0/1< switches the aspect ratio...by default, it's [compat 1<,  
which means the aspect ratio is 1...if you send [compat 0<, you get  
an aspect ratio of the window's width/height...

...now to update that help file...
