hi all, esp. os-x gurus.

everytime i compile Gem on os-x, i get the following warning:
  GemWinCreateMac.cpp:1502:1: warning: unknown escape sequence '\p'


and indeed, there are several occurences of "\p" (though none at line 1502)

could anybody shed some light on what "\p" does and why it is used and 
if it is used at all (probably the compiler just replaces it with "\0")
