no worries: with regard to gem, everything happens in
realtime. i was referring to the lag caused by the
capture board and / or the bttv drivers ... it is
hardly noticeable at all and absolutely negligible
compared to the delay that occurs when using
firewire-hardware, which was at least 100
milliseconds.
