Summary: closing gemwin on OSX does not destroy the window

Initial Comment:
On Mac OS X 10.4.10 Intel, when you close a gemwin using the red close button on the menubar of the gemwin, it does not destroy the window.  In order to recreate it, you have to first send a destroy message, then a create.

I haven't tested on other Macs.
