well, pix_artoolkit was originally part of gem4mac, and i backported it 
to "proper" Gem (in order to have the same object-set on both platforms)

it did compile, but i actually never used it.
so it might as well not work :-(


probably, [pix_artoolkit] should be taken out of Gem again and be 
maintained separately?
