[GEM-dev] gem 64-bit?

There is no 64 bit Carbon support at all.  Apple killed it years ago.

All of the window management and Quicktime code is Carbon.  The rewrite for
Cocoa and 64 bit would be hundreds if not thousands of hours of work.
