Initial Comment:
Hello!!
I'm working with GEM: ver: 0.93.CVS (with gmerlin) and using the examples. I tested the message with alea.mpg and extract this:
the movie plays when the message auto is on. but when the film ends the square becomes white, and appears this posts:
[pix_film]: opening /usr/lib/pd//doc/examples/Gem/04.pix/../data/alea.mpg with format 1908
[pix_film]: ...
[pix_film]: ...
[pix_film]: ...
quicktime failed[pix_film]: ...
[pix_film]: loaded file: /usr/lib/pd//doc/examples/Gem/04.pix/../data/alea.mpg with 31 frames (320x240) at 30.000000 fps
GEM: pix_film:: could not read frame ! 0

GEM: pix_film:: could not read frame ! 1
GEM: pix_film:: could not read frame ! 0

etc...
until message auto is on.
Well, I hope this helps.
Nice job!
Sergi.

Message:
lucky you; i currently get only "Picture cache full" errors on the console
as soon as i open "alea.mpg".
this happens with other applications using gmerlin as well, so i have to
wait till gmerlin get's fixed....
