% libtool --version
% libtoolize --version
and
% ./plugins/filmAVI/libtool --version

tell you?

true.
but you won't be able to use [pix_film], [pix_record] nor [pix_video]
without these plugins.
(the entire idea of the plugin system is to get runtime dependencies out
of the Gem.pd_linux)

so we really should get the build system going...

thanks for the bug report anyhow.

i now see that the problem indeed happened yesterday on the karmic
autobuild machine as well...
