i have committed a potential fix for your problem (it's simply trying to
set the best available operation_mode).

it then still tries to set the speed to ISO400, but eventually should
try to fallback to the cameras default value.

please try if this fixes your problem.

if not, do one (or all) of the following:
- - run Pd in verbose mode and see what it prints
- - remove the entire dc1394_video_set_iso_speed() section (lines 281-288)
and try if that helps (i hope this will simply use the defaults)
