[GEM-dev] I can't see Gem window when I create it

A kludge workaround but if you can't get the Gem windows to be the 
focus, active windows using Gem you could force them to be focus (and 
therefore visible) using Devilspie. I've done this sort of trick a lot 
and it works great:
