Hi Jack,

sorry if it was unclear: i just wanted to say that i have AVT FW800 and gigE cameras here and could give you access to them through a vnc/ssl if you'd want to try it yourself if they work for your purposes. I didn't have the time to try them with Gem myself but i will do that in a month or so and report. we did use the cameras outside of Gem though and they work. with gigE you can get cables up to 100m.
