Version of libvlc :
$ dpkg --list | grep libvlc
ii  libvlc-dev                                2.0.6-1                                    amd64        development files for libvlc
ii  libvlc5                                   2.0.6-1                                    amd64        multimedia player and streamer library
ii  libvlccore5                               2.0.6-1                                    amd64        base library for VLC and its modules

To reproduce the bug :
$ pd
-> crash

Hello,
Using VLC plugin crash Pd.
Removing the symlink solve this problem.
Can I help to enable this plugin in a patch ?
Configuration :
Ubuntu 13.04, Pd 0.44.3, Gem ver: 0.93.git 374f713.
