[GEM-dev] help with glsl abstractions

hey there,

here's the glsl_contrast i was talking about earlier. i made a help 
patch for it and wrapped it all up a bit.
have not done all the message passing to gemframebuffer though. seems to 
me that part of this logic would apply to all the glsl_* so maybe wrap 
it in sub-abstraction?
