i have finally disabled FTGL-support in my local configuration and have
been able to fix the [text2d] issue.
if you do a fresh copy, you might be able to compile a Gem.pd_darwin :-)
(note that i haven't committed any fixes for your manual hacks yet; so
don't lose them)
