yeah, it's a bit unfortunate, that we are (or rather: I am) using both
github and sourceforge ans code-respositories *and* issue trackers.

personally i find github better to work with (e.g. i can close a
ticket with a commit, rather than having to manually do that), but
then sf has been *the* official source forever and offers a nice
distinction between bugs and feature requests....

so i think, for now i will keep using both sites, with github being
more developer centric (i definitely encourage github for
contributions; also i will usually push to github before i push to
sourceforge), and sf being more end-user centric (e.g. you must have a
github-account to create a ticket; whereas you can do that anonymously
on sf, or at least use OpenID)

i will close ticket duplicates *within* a ticket-system, but keep them
open if reported on both systems (until they are fixed of course), in
order to keep the cognitive load for having two trackers to myself.
