[GEM-dev] financing Gem development

Hi, so, what's up?

we already have 385$ thrown at bountysource, ditching it would mean
throwing about 40$ in the thrash, plus taxes to paypal... it'd be weird and
silly, not to mention a disrespect to some who felt like they wanted to
help (I, for one, would feel like that and regretful I helped). Any word or
idea on what's going on there?

I guess multiple sources could be a good way to go if you feel there's also
a better parallel option, but please don't just do this without consulting
people who have already pledged money, and while this is still out there in
the air and others could give yet more money to it.

cheers
