Hi all,
i've just uploaded a new release of flext, a c++ layer for cross-platform
development of PD and MaxMSP
externals.
Although a lot of things have changed, the API is backwards-compatible
(that's what i hope at least).

News:
- Max/Jitter-like attribute functionality
- All creation argument handling is now done by flext, hence there is no
more weird PD re-ordering of arguments (floats, symbols)
- added ToQueue* functions - like ToOut* but messages are not directly sent
(well suited for deadlock situations)
- added complete OSX/darwin support (originally done by Adam T. Lindsay)
- SndObj interface now also available for cygwin and BCC
- lower sensibility for const modifers
- some more functions for atom lists
- fixed some more and less severe bugs
- lots of other things (listed in readme.txt)

There is also a new version of the tutorial with some things fixed and new
examples for attributes and libraries.

Additionally i have put up a doxygen-generated function reference,
downloadable or for online-browsing.

Download as usual from

best greetings,
Thomas
