hi all,

this tiny toy helps to decouple a performance surface from the
patch engine.  It attaches to specified widgets, and forwards
the messages coming to and fro.

Also:  the widget itself has been much reworked, tot may now
be used for recording ``Pd presentations'', etc.

Many unknown bugs and known misfeatures and buglets remain, as
you may easily see after downloading an alpha snapshot from
